Haven Counseling Center

Kern Child Abuse Prevention Council, Inc. (KCAPC)/Haven Counseling Center is a private, non-profit organization whose goals are the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect in Kern County.

KCAPC/HCC provides treatment to families impacted by child abuse and neglect.  It also offers public information and presentations regarding child abuse and neglect, supports legislation related to child maltreatment and is a founding and Governing Board member of the Kern County Network for Children, a county-wide network of leaders of departments and agencies committed to serving children and families in Kern County.

The Mission of the Kern Child Abuse Prevention Council/Haven Counseling Center is to be a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect through advocacy, education and treatment.

This web site is designed to provide the citizens and the community at large with information about the Kern Child Abuse Prevention Council and Haven Counseling Center.
